For some reason, the first thing I noticed about the picture wasn't really the girl. Instead it was the NY symbol on the hat. Since it is centered, large, well defined and beveled, it does attract a fair amount of attention away from the girl. Since this is an expressive portrait, I would avoid the addition of potentially distracting elements such as the NY symbole to focus as much attention on the model's expression as possible. However, if this were a fashion portrait, I would try to highlight the NY symbol with a little more negative space towards the top. It all really depends on what you are trying to accomplish with this photo: to draw attention to the model or the clothing?
I like the general composition. However, the model's face does not perfectly face the camera and seems to be slightly facing towards the left. It's a minor detail though.
I don't like how the sunglasses have reflections in them. Sunglasses are definitely difficult to work with because of their tendency to cast reflections. Try using a PL filter to polarize the reflected light to minimize the reflection. However, a PL filter will not completely remove the reflection. Try using spot lighting to minimize reflections.
I wish the model's eyes were more visible in the photo. Right now, they're hidden under her hair. Especially since this is an expressive photo, I strongly suggest adding some emphasis to the eyes.
Hope this helps
